The
Stainless Steel Back Box
To
solve various height and uneven surface installation challenges, Essex
Electronics has designed the Stainless Steel
Back Box. This "ADA Sensitive" mounting
accessory is ideal for any Essex 12 Pad 3x4 or for the Piezoelectric
Exit Button.
For
Keypad Installations:
The
Stainless Steel Back Box tilts the Keypad upward at a 15° angle to
make it visible to any user even when the Keypad is mounted at
"wheelchair height." The Back Box can also be used to
simplify Keypad installation on uneven surfaces such as stone or
brick. A conduit knock out on the bottom provides a solution for
surface mount installations such as marble.
For Exit
Button Installations:
The
Stainless Steel Back Box can be used to mount an Essex Piezoelectric
Switch to uneven surfaces or to areas where a single gang switchbox is
not available.
 Tilts the
keypad upward to make it visible to any user, even when the keypad is mounted at
"wheelchair height."
