The Ligature Resistant Bezel has been designed to further enhance the ligature resistance of Essex card readers and door access switches in behavioral health facilities and correctional institutions. Currently available for use with Essex single gang faceplates, the LRB-2 features:
Enhanced Ligature Resistance:
The Ligature Resistant Bezel (LRB-2) is designed to provide additional safety and security to Essex readers and switches. The beveled edges on the LRB-2 make it difficult for ligatures to be attached to the device, reducing the risk of self-harm or harm to others.
High-Strength Construction:
The LRB-2 is constructed of high-strength DuPont™ Zytel®, a high-performance nylon resin that is known for its durability and resistance to impact, heat, and chemicals.

Sleek Design:
The LRB-2 is available in a matte black finish which provides a sleek and modern design.
